Academic Level

A First Time College Freshman:

3. Has not taken a college-level class from CMC in the past 10 months¹

¹ If you have, simply sign into Basecamp and register for classes

A High School Concurrent Enrollment Student:

1. Wants to take college classes while still enrolled in high school
2. Is not home schooled
3. Is attending one of the high schools listed in the High School field below

A Homeschool Dual Enrollment Student:

1. Is currently homeschooled
2. Wants to take college classes before earning their high school diploma or equivalency
3. Will pay for courses taken themselves¹

¹If you are affiliated with a high school that has agreed to pay for your courses, choose "High School Concurrent Enrollment" instead

A Temporary Student (Earning Transfer Credits):

1. Plans to transfer credits earned to another college or university after only 1-2 semesters at CMC

A Guest Student (College-Level):

1. Wishes to take college-level credit courses (1000-4000 level) for personal interest or professional development
2. Does not intend to earn a degree or certificate from CMC

4. Will not seek financial aid, student loans, scholarships or grants

A Guest Student (Non-Credit):

You do not need an admissions application to take non-credit "Community Education" classes*

*Community Education classes are not college-level (not 1000-4000 level). If you find that the classes you wish to take are at the 1000-4000 level, you will need an admissions application using student type "Guest Student (College-Level)" to establish residency (your tuition rate) and to enroll.

2. Wishes to earn a high school diploma through the Workforce Diploma Pilot Program (WDPP) or a high school equivalency (by taking the GED or HiSET exam)

An International Student:

1. Does not have United States citizenship
2. Is not living in the United States with an Undocumented, Permanent Resident, or Deferred Action residency status
3. Is seeking an F-1 student visa OR transferring their current F-1 visa from a university they are currently attending in the United States
4. Does not plan to attend with an existing US visa that is not type F-1¹

¹If you have a valid US visa² that is not an F-1, and are not seeking an F-1, please choose the most appropriate student type above other than International Student
²B-1/B-2 visitor visa holders are not permitted to take college classes

Note: An application fee of $100 USD is required for all international applications. This can be paid by any major credit card when you submit your admissions application. If you complete all enrollment requirements, are admitted and register for classes within 18 months of submitting this application, your application fee will be credited back to your student account (after you register for classes). If you do not enroll (for any reason), the application fee is non-refundable.

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing Applicant:

1. Is a current CMC student or has recently completed a general CMC application (if a transfer student or returning student).
2. Has all prerequisite coursework below completed or in-progress OR made a pathway plan with CMC's nursing admissions counselor.

A Dental Hygiene Applicant:
